Small change, big meaning
Earlier this week, we changed our domain from pluto.insure to pluto.travel. This may seem like a relatively minor change, but it stands for something more meaningful. It signifies our ambition to build a travel brand who just so happen to sell travel insurance and not vice versa.
We're on a mission to make the bad bits about travelling better, and the first step was to create travel insurance for people who don't like insurance. A best-in-class travel insurance product and customer experience that solves some of the worst bits about insurance. From flight delays and lost baggage to falling ill or missing your holiday altogether - we believe that great quality travel insurance can combat some of the bad stuff that can go wrong whilst you're on holiday.
Beyond our core travel insurance product, we've been releasing a few other bits and pieces aligned to our mission. We've partnered with ZoomDoc to offer you 24/7 access to a UK GP from your phone, wherever you are in the world. We've been researching ways to travel more sustainably, give back to local communities and prepare for safer travels. Our ambition is to provide a more complete travel experience, where we can help you prepare for your travels to prevent things going wrong, provide care whilst you're away and have your back if something does go wrong. Travel insurance will remain the core of our offering, but by offering a range of complimentary other services, we won't just be there if something goes wrong, but we'll do what we can to prevent the emotional pain of things going wrong before they happen.
